Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to MithilaFPO.in. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from us. By accessing our site and placing orders, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Please Note: We operate primarily as a Wholesale/B2B platform. While we offer a facility to purchase samples, the primary intent of this website is to facilitate bulk trade.

2. Account Registration

To access wholesale pricing or place bulk orders, you may be required to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Orders and Contract

3.1 Sample Orders

  • We offer the option to purchase smaller quantities specifically as "Samples" for the purpose of quality verification.
  • Prices for samples may differ from wholesale pricing due to retail packaging and handling costs.

3.2 Wholesale Orders

  • Wholesale orders are subject to Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) or Minimum Order Values (MOV) as displayed on the product page or negotiated via invoice.
  • Confirmation of a wholesale order indicates your intent to purchase goods for commercial use or resale.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Currency: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Taxes: Prices are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. GST will be calculated at checkout based on the HS code of the agricultural/processed product.
  • Payment Terms:
    • Samples: 100% advance payment required via the online payment gateway or Direct Bank Transfer.
    • Wholesale: Payment terms are 100% advance unless a credit line has been explicitly approved in writing by MithilaFPO.in.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • Timelines: We strive to dispatch sample orders within 2 business days. Wholesale orders may take longer depending on stock availability and harvest cycles.
  • Risk of Loss: All items purchased from MithilaFPO.in are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
  • Force Majeure: As we deal in agricultural produce/goods, we are not liable for delays caused by natural calamities, strikes, harvest failures, or unseasonal weather affecting the Mithila region.

6. Product Descriptions

We attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, agricultural products are natural and subject to minor variations in color, size, and texture.

  • Samples vs. Bulk: While the sample represents the quality of the bulk lot, slight batch-to-batch variations may occur in large wholesale orders. This is the nature of natural commodities.

7. Limitation of Liability

MithilaFPO.in shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if MithilaFPO.in has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Darbhanga, Bihar.
